Join NowIf Steinbeck was a Dancer
"A kind of light spread out from her. And everything changed color. And the world opened out. And a day was good to awaken to. And there were no limits to anything. And the people of the world were good and handsome. And I was not afraid any more." ~ John Steinbeck
I lived where Steinbeck wrote novels in the Monterey Bay Area of CA and upon finishing this video I thought of him, as well as the CCC men, who following the depression, did a lot of the stone work in the surrounding National and State Parks of Big Bend where we lived off-grid.
I also felt a connection with my pioneer & farmer ancestors and...the magic of hands... that create, connect us through touch, build structures and make art, write, express love, heal, communicate familiarity in gesture, beauty in abstract movement… 8:19
